Alma Mater First; and Theta Chi for Alma Mater

Theta Chi is one of the oldest men’s college fraternities in North America. Founded in 1856, Theta Chi Fraternity is a men’s collegiate fraternity with more than 200,000 initiated members and has established 245 chapters. Theta Chi’s mission is to develop college-age men into successful students, good citizens, lifelong brothers, and resolute leaders.

Founded on the principle of friendship through the mutual assistance of every member, Theta Chi aims to provide its members with an enjoyable and fulfilling collegiate experience that also prepares them for rewarding, successful lives after graduation.

Iota Pi Chapter at Louisiana State University

Theta Chi Fraternity Iota Pi chapter received its charter on April 21st, 2012 and was accepted into LSU’s Interfraternity Council on September 26th of the same year. The hard work and time invested by this group of men has accrued returns far exceeding what was expected of a newly founded chapter. The Iota Pi chapter is poised for excellence, which is credited to their unparalleled brotherhood. It is this brotherhood—the unbounded friendship the men of Theta Chi share— that allows them to come together during times of hardship as well as success.

Congratulations to our Chapter President, Cole Smith, for being elected to serve on the Theta Chi national presidents advisory council.
Three of our brothers were excited to represent the tigers on the ice as they helped LSU defeat UAB. For the first time in 7 years LSU hockey has made its return and we are excited to be apart of it!
Several of our executive officers attended our national leadership conference in Indianapolis this past weekend.
